Maldives Hotels & Resorts

December 30, 2008

Those white and creamy sandy beaches, those sun soaked sand along with crystal clear blue water would be the perfect destination for anyone, can be a couple that has come to make a memorable honey moon or even a family that’s seeking the most perfect summer vacation.

This is the perfect paradise on earth after some other famous tourists’ destinations. But what make this a better perfect destination would be the hotels and the restaurants that are offering huge bargains and discounts for booking a perfect vacation.

The tourism industry, especially those of the hotels and restaurants are the oldest in this region that has emerged under those clear blue skies along with those sun soaked beaches. It’s this industry that seems to be the most promising one, which would surely generate funds not only for you but also for the government of this nation.

These are the only contributors that make up and generate the gross domestic product of the country of Maldives. The reason why I say this is because the tourism industry seems to be the only industry that is prevalent over here and there are no more other industries that are seen over here. And this has not been possible because of the geographical topography of this country. There are only seas and islands that are there over here.

Forget about the manufacturing and processing industry, the topography of this country is such that we don’t even get to see roads and streets over here.

This entire country is made up of different islands, which are connected to each other; they quite close to each other. The main mode of transport is those ferries that leave about every half an hour. So finding any other industry besides the hotel industry would be seemingly impossible. The government of this country also provides different perks and facilities in the form of tax soaps and other tax holidays and incentives.

The Maldives hotel and trade exhibition also encourages other hotels and restraints to participate in the MHTE that is the (Maldives Hotel and Trade Exhibition). These are some of the few seminars and conferences that take place quarterly in a year to encourage and develop the hotel and the tourism industry.

Usually the participation for this event is free and this also provides equal platform for National and Regional hotels to put forth and display their services as well as promoting their branches.
